The mission of Cave Creek Bike Park is to create outdoor community space where local mountain bike riders of all ages and levels can have fun and progress their skills through a variety of features.

Friends, thank you for your support!

Cave Creek Bike Park is now a reality thanks to the hard work of many! Donations are still welcome and needed for the behind the scenes maintenance and improvements (and for the decidedly unsexy but critical things like insurance). Visit our DONATE page to learn more about the many ways you can contribute.

Friends of Cave Creek Bike Park is a non-profit with a vision to create and maintain a trail system for the greater Trout Lake community to engage with each other and the land through their shared enthusiasm for mountain biking. The park is designed for families and riders of all ages and skill levels to have fun, enjoy the outdoors, and progress their skills through a variety of features. The network of trails and use guidelines incorporates best environmental stewardship practices.

Built by and for the greater Trout Lake Community.

Cave Creek Bike Park was born out of the crazy vision and hard work of high school student and mtn bike fiend Devon Biernacki. The experience of building trails in his own backyard with his father inspired Devon to share these skills and opportunities with his community. Locals Scott and Katie Thompson heard about Devon’s vision and, in an incredible stroke of generosity, offered to lease a section of their land for the park. Devon was then joined by fellow student Josh Keller, and adults Laura Cary, Dennis McMahon, Krissy Biernacki, and Jeanne McConnell, who all jumped on board to support the vision and found an organization to support the creation of the park. All shared the vision that the Trout Lake community would benefit from a locally-based mountain bike trail system. Current Cave Creek Bike Park board are: Rowan Shuman, Dennis McMahon, Chris Daly, Emily Paxson, Syndey Shumacher, and Jon Kruse. Feel free to get in touch if you would like to find ways to volunteer with Cave Creek Bike Park!
